WAEPA Announces Premium Refund for 28th time in 29 years
WAEPA members to receive a 10% refund on 2023 premiums
WAEPA (Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies, Inc.) is proud to announce that its Board of Directors has approved a 2024 premium refund for its members.
What is WAEPA’s Premium Refund Program?
Each year, WAEPA’s Board of Directors evaluates its fiscal performance in the previous year as well as the outlook for upcoming years. Based on this evaluation, the Board determines whether a premium refund can be issued to members.

About the 2024 Premium Refund
WAEPA will proudly award a 2024 premium refund to its members. All qualifying WAEPA members will receive a 10% refund of their annualized premium as of December 31, 2023.
Our members are at the core of everything we do at WAEPA” said M. Shane Canfield, CEO of WAEPA. “Returning a portion of their premiums each year is a proud tradition that underscores our ongoing dedication to their financial well-being.”
While premium refunds are not guaranteed, WAEPA has awarded a refund every year for the past 26 years, totaling more than $125 million since 1996.
