WAEPA Scholarship Program

Since 2007, the WAEPA Scholarship Program has awarded over $1.6 million dollars in scholarships. The scholarships are available for full-time study at accredited institutions, which can include four-year colleges and 2-year vocational schools. Every year, we proudly provide tuition assistance for up to 80 individuals.

Four-Year Schooling

70 scholarships of $2,500 will be granted to students attending four-year colleges or universities.

Two-Year Schooling

10 scholarships of $1,250 will be granted to students attending two-year colleges or vocational-technical schools.

Who Can Apply

Applicants are required meet the following WAEPA eligibility requirements:

Children of WAEPA Members

Children of WAEPA Members insured under WAEPA’s Group Life Insurance Program are welcomed to apply. All applicants should be under the age of 23.

High School Seniors or Graduates

High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

GPA of 3.0 (or its equivalent)

Students must be maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

Note – WAEPA Members and Associate Members are not eligible to apply.
