About Michelle
Michelle Suckow brings more than 25 years of experience in insurance leadership to WAEPA. Prior to joining the organization in 2026, she led operational teams focused on improving efficiency, scalability, compliance, and the member experience. By emphasizing quality, process improvement, and the strategic use of technology, she helped organizations achieve sustainable growth through operational efficiencies, member and client referrals, cross-selling, and new product development.
As Chief Operating Officer, Michelle provides strategic leadership across WAEPA’s operations, helping translate strategy into execution while driving operational excellence, organizational performance, and cross-functional collaboration. She works closely with teams across the organization to advance WAEPA’s strategic priorities and deliver an exceptional member experience.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with family, traveling, volunteering, and supporting nonprofit organizations focused on health, research, survivorship, and animal welfare.
