WAEPA Announces 10% 2025 Premium Refund for Eligible Members
The nonprofit association has awarded a premium refund to its membership of Civilian Federal Employees in 29 of the last 30 years.
WAEPA (Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies, Inc.) is proud to announce that its Board of Directors has approved a 10% premium refund for eligible members this year.
“Our members are at the heart of WAEPA’s mission. These are the Federal employees who serve with dedication through every challenge our nation faces,” said M. Shane Canfield, CEO of WAEPA. “We’re proud to return a portion of their premiums again this year, continuing a tradition that reflects our enduring commitment to their financial well-being.”
2025 Premium Refund
Eligible WAEPA members will receive a 10% refund of their 2024 annualized premium, as of December 31, 2024.
While premium refunds for members are not guaranteed, WAEPA has proudly awarded a refund in 29 of the last 30 years, totaling more than $125 million since 1996.
About WAEPA’s Premium Refund Program
Each year, WAEPA’s Board of Directors evaluates its fiscal performance in the previous year as well as the outlook for upcoming years. Based on this evaluation, the Board determines whether a premium refund can be issued to members.
The premium refund program is one way that WAEPA embodies its mission to support the financial welfare of current and former Civilian Federal Employees, and is a testament to the organization’s fiduciary and financial strength.
