WAEPA Wins 2021 GAINer Award

Falls Church, VA., December 6, 2021: WAEPA (Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies) announced today that it has been named a 2021 GAINer Award Winner by Government Marketing University for the second consecutive year. These awards celebrate the best in government marketing across the U.S. Public Sector.

WAEPA was recognized in the “Lead Generation” category thanks to the successful launch of its Short-Term Disability Insurance Product. This campaign educated WAEPA’s members on the benefit and uniqueness of this product while offering helpful resources to make the buying process as seamless as possible.

By developing an integrated marketing campaign across multiple mediums – direct mail, email, web, display ads, social media ads – WAEPA was able to contact people through their medium of choice and alert them of this new product offering.

“This award was a team effort,” said Stacy Outlaw, Senior Vice President of Marketing at WAEPA. “Short-Term Disability Insurance is WAEPA’s first new product to complement our Group Term Life Insurance offering, so it was imperative that the campaign was a success. This award truly validates the efforts of our entire marketing team.”
