Recapping 2020 with our CEO

2020 was a year like no other. The COVID-19 Pandemic was unlike anything we’ve seen in our more than 75 years in business. Despite new challenges, WAEPA continued to stand alongside Civilian Federal Employees, putting the future of their families first. WAEPA’s CEO, M. Shane Canfield, addresses our membership.

“Looking back on 2020, we mourn those lost to the pandemic. And we appreciate the challenges and hardships that so many have faced. But we also remember the hard work, and agile response of so many, including our own employees, and the dedicated Civilian Federal Employees that we serve.”

“Looking back on 2020, we mourn those lost to the pandemic. And we appreciate the challenges and hardships that so many have faced. But we also remember the hard work, and agile response of so many, including our own employees, and the dedicated Civilian Federal Employees that we serve,” Shane noted in the video.

Moving forward, our mission remains the same. We adapted in 2020 and will continue to put Civilian Feds first.
