Tia N. Butler

Tia N. Butler serves as Chair of the IT Committee and a Member of the Products and Services Committee. She has served on the Board since 2021. 

She is currently the Chief People & Diversity Officer for the National Committee for Quality Assurance, whose mission is to improve the quality of healthcare. Tia was a public servant for nearly 20 years, serving in Senior Executive Service positions with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She began her federal service with the Department of the Navy. 

Tia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development, with a concentration in Human & Organizational Learning from the George Washington University.
