2025 WAEPA Federal Summit & Annual Member Meeting | Tuesday, December 16

EDIT: With the federal government now reopened, WAEPA will air an updated State of the Association along with our previously recorded expert panel on Creating Healthy Organizations on December 16, 11 a.m. ET.

All Civilian Federal Employees are invited to join WAEPA on Tuesday, December 16 at 11 a.m. ET for a virtual webinar. The program features a panel of experts and Federal officials who will discuss best practices to improve the organizational health of teams and support employees. While the content remains highly relevant, the panel segment was recorded prior to the shutdown and reflects the environment at that time.

  • Colleen Heller-Stein, Executive Director of the Chief Human Capital Officers, Office of Personnel Management
  • Scott Blackburn, Senior Partner, McKinsey
  • Joe Mitchell, Director of Strategic Initiatives & Internal Programs, National Academy of Public Administration
  • Alex Snider, Former Strategy Lead, General Services Administration

Research shows that a strong internal culture focused on high performance is critical to the effective delivery of essential public services. In times of stress or transition, that healthy culture works to keep the mission on track and employees engaged.

These experts will discuss strategies for building and maintaining healthy organizations in every situation. Leaders at every level can follow practical strategies and evidence-based practices to improve the organizational health of their teams and support their employees at the same time.

Registration is free and all WAEPA members and Civilian Federal Employees are encouraged to attend.
