Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies (WAEPA) will be hosting their Second Annual Member Meeting on Oct. 30, 2018 at the Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes a Plenary Address by Jean Chatzky, Personal Financial Expert for Today and The Oprah Winfrey Show, and a panel featuring Author Walt Francis and Federal Benefits Specialist Linda Harris, moderated by Francis Rose, Host of Government Matters. The speakers for this event will be covering topics dedicated to financial wellness, in line with WAEPA’s mission of promoting the health, welfare, and financial well-being of its members.

In celebration of their 75th Anniversary, WAEPA opened this event up to both members and non-members. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

“We’ve made a number of improvements to our Annual Member Meeting based on feedback we received from last year’s attendees. Considering we’re celebrating 75 years of serving Civilian Federal Employees and their families, this event is sure to be a special one. We’ve encouraged our members to invite their colleagues to attend as well,” said Shane Canfield, CEO of WAEPA.

Registration for this event is now closed, as space is limited. Click here for directions to the Reagan Building and information on parking.
