Lamar Dunn

Lamar Dunn is a Member of the Finance and the IT Committees. He has served on the Board since 2018.

He holds degrees from both ITT Technical Institute and Clover Park College. Lamar started his career as a Civilian Federal Employee in 2002 with the Transportation Security Administration. When his career in Information Technology accelerated, he became a government contractor for a period, before securing a position at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in 2005. Lamar served as the Deputy Director/CIO until his retirement in 2022.

In that role, Lamar was tasked with strategically managing the agency’s mission-critical IT projects.

Lamar was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in 2014 until his retirement.
