Joel Lovelace

Joel Lovelace is a Member of the Governance Committee and the IT Committee as of 2021.

Currently a retired Federal employee, Joel served as the Director of the Office of Program Planning, Evaluation, and Management at the Employee Benefits Security Administration for eight years. As Director, he provided advice and leadership in the development and implementation of agency policy, strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, human resources, and administrative programs. Joel has served in various leadership roles during more than 32 years of government service and was appointed to the career Senior Executive Service in 2012.

Joel holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, both from Southern Illinois University.
