Christi Grimm is a Member of the Finance Committee and the Governance Committee.
She has served on WAEPA’s Board of Directors since 2019. Christi is the Principal Deputy Inspector General at the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In her 20 years of Government service at HHS OIG, she has served in several key leadership roles, including as the Chief of Staff, the Director of Policy and Operations, and a senior evaluator examining topics ranging from beneficiary safety in hospitals to the Medicare claims appeals process. Christi frequently represents the work and viewpoint of the HHS OIG before the media, congress, at industry conferences and in trade association journals. Christi is highly awarded, earning the Award for Excellence in Management from the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency in 2019 and the Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Management in 2015.
Christi earned a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Colorado at Denver.
