WAEPA CEO M. Shane Canfield was featured on the September 20 episode of WJLA’s Let’s Talk Live segment, hosted by Kidd O’Shea. The pair discussed the history of WAEPA and the limited time Guaranteed Issue offer the organization is hosting.
“This is a really big deal, and our first time offering it,” Canfield said of the limited time guaranteed acceptance offer. “If you’re under the age of fifty and don’t currently have life insurance with us, you can apply for $100,000 in coverage with no medical questions at all. In addition to covering the limited-time promotion, Canfield also discussed the differences between WAEPA and FEGLI (Federal Employees’ Group Life Insurance). The main differences include price, portability, and coverage available.
