About the 20 Percent Premium Refund
Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies (WAEPA) is pleased to announce that a 20% premium refund has been approved by their Board of Directors.
WAEPA Members will receive a 20% refund of their annualized premium as of December 31, 2017. WAEPA is one of the few insurance companies that provides these types of refunds to members.
WAEPA’s premium refunds are not guaranteed, and are based primarily on their annual claims ratio. Despite constant fluctuations, WAEPA has awarded a refund 22 of the past 23 years.
“This year, we’re proud to celebrate 75 years of promoting the health, welfare, and financial well-being of Civilian Federal Employees and their families. Continued growth is part of what helps us award these refunds – as such, we’re encouraging our members to mention the benefits of joining WAEPA to their Civilian Federal coworkers nationwide,” said Shane Canfield, CEO of WAEPA.
