Why is WAEPA issuing this credit?

In light of the Partial Government Shutdown, WAEPA is waiving premiums due for January 2019 to do our part in easing the burden many Feds face in times like these. We are proud that our Board of Directors voted unanimously to issue this credit.

How much is my credit?

A letter is forthcoming that displays the full amount your account will be credited. You can expect to receive it no later than January 31st.

What if I’ve already paid January’s premium?

If members have already made a payment, the credit will be reflected on their next bill.

When will it be credited?

Your account has been credited as of Monday, January 14th.

Does this apply to all WAEPA Members?

All insured members’ January premiums will be waived, including Associate Members, and even those not impacted by the partial shutdown.

Does the credit apply to Associate Members?

Yes, the credit applies to all insured WAEPA Members, including insured Associate members.

I reduced my coverage as a result of the furlough and would like to reinstate. Is that possible?

We are happy to reverse all reductions and cancellations received in the last 30 days.

Do I have to pay the credit back?

No re-payment of the account credit is due from our members. All January premiums are being waived by WAEPA.
