Patricia Bak is the Director of the Products and Services Committee and a member of the Governance Committee of WAEPA’s Board of Directors, having served since 2013.
She earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from Northwestern University. Pat currently serves as Deputy Executive Director of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), where she has also served as Acting Executive Director and Acting CIO.
Prior to the FTC, Pat was Managing Attorney and Corporate Secretary of the $2.3B Manville Personal Injury Class Action Settlement Trust. While in private practice, she represented plaintiffs and defendants in class action antitrust and securities cases and other complex litigation. She also managed professional liability litigation at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, was a litigator at the Federal Election Commission, and worked on the Hill.
Pat joined the Senior Executive Service in 2010.
