September 2012: 25% Premium Refund For WAEPA Members
Since 1996, the WAEPA Board of Directors has declared 16 premium refunds, returning over $65,000,000 to WAEPA
members. This includes a 25% refund of premium for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012.
All refund checks are void, as of December 2nd 2012, with all credits being applied to each Member's account.
Who is eligible for a refund?
WAEPA Members with life insurance coverage in force on March 31, 2012, whose coverage remains in force as of
September 1, 2012 - the date of the refund.
All Refund Checks are void, by year’s end, and are, thereafter, automatically credited to each respective Member’s account.
How much money do eligible WAEPA members receive?
Your refund is based on the amount of your insurance coverage. You will receive 25% of your annualized premium as
of March 31, 2012 the last day of WAEPA’s fiscal year (The exact percentage may vary from year to year).
How much is my premium refund with FEGLI?
FEGLI does not offer premium refunds.
